With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Susan Barr on January 25, 2026, at the age of 63 years.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at E.J. Coutu & Co. Funeral Home, 680 Archibald Street, Winnipeg, MB at 1:00 p.m.

Well first off, condolences to Susan’s family. I was one of her tenants at the block she managed. I’m one of many who take the stairwell that passed her office and when situations permitted I would stop and chat briefly about business or just general things. We never discussed Our personal lives however we did share a love of dogs. Susan explained she had two dogs with German shepherds I did explain to her I had to previous dogs on separate occasions and would love to have another one and she jokingly laughed not as long as I was living here because no dogs allowed. Me and Susan we’re both close in age within a year, however Susan had a kindness, wisdom and talent in handling situations both good and bad that far surpassed people of our generation.
